ROGER DUBUIS | The Kabuto Legacy

Roger Dubuis presents the Excalibur Kabuto Legacy, a métiers d'art timepiece that gathers twelve of the great commanders of feudal Japan on a single dial.​ Each of the twelve bushō is recalled by his kabuto, the helmet that announced his lineage and his philosophy across a battlefield. Their twelve family crests sit on the caseback. At the centre of the dial stands Edo Castle, rebuilt in miniature from seventeen elements across four decorative techniques, marking the era of peace that began in 1603 and held for 265 years.
